The Voltaggio brothers reimagine local bounty at the new Estuary in DC

“Top Chef” alumni Michael and Bryan Voltaggio celebrate their Maryland roots at Estuary in the Conrad Washington DC hotel. The menu, which presents Chesapeake fare in a new light, includes a riff on the Maryland Crab Roll. Interiors by Lauren Rottet, FAIA, of Rottet Studio are a modern take on the American tavern. Diners can watch the chefs work around a custom Molteni stove and White Macauba plating station; warm wood-and-stone finishes and a fireplace grace the bar. 950 New York Avenue, NW; 202-844-5895. estuarydc.com
